i just got back from Reading cinema. watched Narnia 3. it was waaaay awesome!
i just love Narnia 3, the second and the first too. auuuuuwww Caspian. you're so hot and Edmund too. Lucy, you have matured and become more beautiful. gosh, they have grown up since the last time i watched them in Narnia 2. Eustace, hurm. annoying but cute when he transformed into a dragon. too bad, Peter (my huge crush) didn't appear in the movie. i missed him. overall, i give Narnia 10/10. it's worth watching and i think i have fallen in love with Reepicheep. he's sooo adorable.

from Christchurch to Queenstown with love. Day 4

on day 4, we started our journey to Queenstown. it takes about 6 hours drive without stop (resource from Google Map). our adventure really begins here. notice that snow-capped mountains? gosh, it was beautiful.
after about 3 hours of drive, we stopped at Lake Tekapo to visit the very well-known church located by the lake.

we chilled and relaxed by the lake and at the same time enjoying the cool breeze.

panorama of Lake Tekapo from afar. after prayer and lunch. we continued to Queenstown without stop. we feared that driving at night might be dangerous. thank God, we reached Queenstown before the sunset.

Christchurch Day 3.

we rented a car the day before. on day 3, we drove to Akaroa which is about 80 km by road from Christchurch. Akaroa is a small town within a harbour. its population is about 600 people if i'm not mistaken.

we tried this paddle boat despite the hot sun. the price was quite cheap and paddling was FUN i tell you. notice that mat salleh? he's cute :P

after that, we drove back to Christchurch. along the way, we stopped at Sugarloaf Scenic Reserve, Mount Cavendish.

we were enjoying the breathtaking view. seriously, my eyes never got tired looking at the scenary. Our Lord, You have not created this for nothing. Glory be to You! So safeguard us from the punishment of the Fire. Qur'an, Chapter 3,Verse 191

we reached Christchurch after sunset. we decided not to go back to our backpakcers yet. So, we chilled at the New Brighton harbour which just a few blocks away from our backpackers.

from Welly to Christchurch with love. Day 2

hello peeps.

as i promised before in the previous posts. i want to update you guys on our trip to South Island a few weeks ago. before that, ocean of thanks to tuan rumah Wan Zanariah (a friend of Lily's) for the warm welcome and nice food during the first day we arrived. we stayed at Point Break Backpackers in New Brighton, Christchurch. so the next day, we roamed around Christchurch city, sightseeing, touring and camwhoring. well, it's a must :P

Avon River. it offers punting but we didn't try it due to expensive ticket price.

Cathedral Church. the main attraction in Christchurch.

Cathedral Square. lucky us, there was this lady performing a song at that time. her voice was fabulous.

Christchurch giant chess board. too bad, i don't know how to play chess. i suck at this game.

Canterbury Museum. very educational. but i think the boys were bored. haha.

5. Finish reading all series of the Chronicles of Narnia - err. not sure. i hope so.
6. Nak kurus? - pending. haha. not going to happen. LOL
7. Keep my eyes on any SALE signs- definitely :P
8. Spend a whole day in BORDERS and read books - soon. i have been wanting to do this since ages. got to find one perfect day for it.
9. Picnic at Botanical garden - i don't know. need to plan with housemates first.
10. try to cook new dishes or baking? - tengokla if rajin :P
